On the Wee hours of 29 December 2022, the world got the tragic News, Pele Real name Edson Arantes do Nascimento was no more after a long battle with Colon Cancer. in September 2021 Pele was having a routine examination when a tumor was noticed in his right Colon requiring surgery.
What followed was a lengthy treatment in and out of the hospital with Chemotherapy treatments. Pele had been admitted at the Albert Eisten Hospital in Sao paulo on Wednesday 3oth November 2022 with a respiratory tract infection.
Born on 23rd October 1940, the Brazilian Striker is best remembered for having won the World Cup at the Young age of 17 and there after winning Two more to be the Only player to have Won Three World Cups in the Year 1958, 1962 and 1970 with Brazil.
Pele managed a total of 12 World Cup Goals Scoring 6 goals in 4 matches in his first World Cup in 1958, 1 goal in 2 matches in 1962, 1 goal in 2 matches in 1966 and 4 goals in 6 matches in 1970 which was his last World Cup.
